The 2008 GRB STI I bought has a full Hayward and Scott 3 inch turbo decat exhaust on it, that appears to be one of H&S early ones as it has a small center resonator which I am told they no longer build in to their systems.

If I guess it to be around 6 years old, is it possible that the felt material in the center resonator and rear boxes has worn out. I ask because the exhaust seems very very loud and drones a lot to the extent where it's at least for me too loud.

It would be great if anyone with the same exhaust could post some video or sound clip of what the exhaust should sound like.

At this stage I can either look at replacing the center resonator and see how it sounds / if it improves. Or have to look at options to replace the entire Cat back....Cobra, H&S again or one of those cheaper Japspeed as just use the cat back parts.

I'll try and take a vid clip of how it sounds atm.
