Do you mean this pump?

http://www.scoobyworx.com/swrd-colos...mp-15606-p.asp

Wouldnt the higher flow rate of 340lph over the OEM pump (175lph I think) disrupt the Fuel Pressure Regulator and not cope, allowing fuel to force its way past?

I think it depends on how much bhp your running. Once you hit a certain bhp, I believe that you would need to add a new regulator. but because I'm not looking to go over 290/300 it shouldn't effect it

No I mean the higher force of flow from the pump would be too much for the OEM fpr to cope with so it cannot regulate properly meaning more fuel is forced past when it shouldn't be.

Sounds like I should go for a walbro 255 then ?

Don't want too much fuel pushing through the system then by the sounds of it ?

The oem fpr will be fine with a 340lph pump, i ran one without issue and base fuel pressure remained the same.

Oh that's good to know. As I've heard conflicted views on here about running a higher fuel pump to the oem one
