Guys, I have a 2002 wrx totally standard with the exception of a racebox rear silencer. Live the sound it's just a little too quiet for me. My question is can I replace the next section of the system (centre) to give it a bit more of a rumble without having to remap?

 

yes - you can also ditch the second/rear cat as well leaving you with the main (downpipe) cat and the uppipe(pre cat) one. The uppipe one can also be binned to free some ponies though you'll have to put a resistor in where the EGT sensor used to be connected (decat uppipe doesn't have/need one).

 

I had the Racebox too and was to quiet so swapped it for Afterburner vortex like 3 days ago miles better and proper scooby soundtrack now without been mega loud
