Bloked fuel vent ???
I have just bought a 98' impreza Terzo edition. When i am filling the car up the pumps nozzle keeps cliking (took 15 mins to put £40 of petrol in then i noticed it was pouring out from under the car is this the fuel vent pipe? I am also experiencing very high fuel consumption and a fluctuation on my fuel gauge. Would pressure be building up telling me i have a full tank when really i dont.?

I have a feeling your fuel return vent pipe that attaches to fuel filler pipe has been bunged up , causing pressure in your tank , check underneath and I bet you fill find it bunged up !

Yes I was one of the previous owners of 275,think it was around 2009 when I sold it.
I sold the number plate(for more than the car lol) it ran S333JAC,so use that number to get more history.
If the rear arches are rusting again then I suspect it could have been a botch repair?
As for the engine then I would imagine it's had another block/long engine put in there?
I did enjoy the car tho

Have a look in the boot, pull back the cover,n/s, and see if any welding has been done,it used to fill up with water in that well and that side was really rotten.
Best of luck with it,if you plan on keeping it then enjoy

I'm sure you'll have better luck than I did with it.
Make it your own, give it some TLC and enjoy driving it mate
Have you any plans for it?
Any mods done on it yet? It was pretty standard when I had it apart from a ss cat back.
Oh and get some pics up,be nice to see how it looks now.
