Default THROTTLE CABLE . . .

How many of you have ever bothered checking its connection to the throttle pully, in the engine bay? Not many, I bet? I can imagine it's often overlooked, no?

I was sorting out my IAVC the other day, and whilst in there noticed that the throttle cable was well slack. So much so, it was actually sagging - a bit like a skipping rope lol.

So naturally, I readjusted it to a point where it was just slacked off from actually pulling on and turning the pulley. The inner cable is now poker-straight, but there is still about 3mm (recommended) slack when you hook your finger around it and push/pull on it vertically. Much better.

I also liberally sprayed all the moving parts of the pulley assembly with some PlusGas.
