Default Fittinhg a Genome to a 3" Milltek

I really fancy a Genome to spice up the rather boring sound of my 3" resonated Milltek on a twin scroll.

Anyone found a way to fit a Genome to a 3" system?

A 2.5" to 3" reducer and a bit of welding

Interesting - the clips I've heard sound promising - quite like the rasp, certainly more characterful than the rather generic noise the Milltek makes.

Am wondering though if there may be any power reduction if reducing down to a 2.5" backbox (running 440/440, LM450).

I had a resonated Miltek on my last spec-c, I swapped the resonated centre for a non-res one and it was just right

Genome is a good backbox for a twinscroll have one on mine but don't think I would reduce a 3 inch exhaust to fit one, I have seen one in the past that had been fitted with a 3 inch pipe and silencer re packed but it's a lot of hassle to get a genome in 3 inch.

Thanks all for feedback. Think I'll try the deresonated centre first and see how I get on.

I'm the other way around, I've fitted a extra resonator to my Miltek system, that reduced the raspiness and gave it a deep tone.

Also a lot less intrusive at motorway speeds.
