Default mines ecu

just a simple question, ive seen a ecu and its supposed to be a mines ecu, however ive had a few ecus and this has no chip in where the chip should go and no daughterboard and also looks like the resistor is still in as it should, not cut.do mines ecu's have a chip or daughterboard ? or are they flashed programmed?

From what I remember Mines unsolder the chip and put their own in. In other words it looks normal.
