Default Roof Rack

Hi guys, can somebody point in the direction of some roof bars for my 06 saloon sti. I don't want bars that hook in by the windows as that screams issues to me!!

Thanks.

What do you want to use it for?
I use a Sea Sucker bike rack that uses suction cups straight onto the roof panel.

I can't recommend the Subaru bars enough. Rock solid when fitted, lockable and rigid.

I have carried four bikes on top at silly speeds........

Looking to carry my mountain bike on it.

Cardinal, don't know if I'd trust that.

I understand the lack of trust, I was sceptical too.
But each sucker is SUPER strong and has a telltale to inicate if any of them lose vacuum. And mine is a double rack which has 4 suckers so no worries. In fact, it's overkill.
The only real worry is lack of theft prevention but I wouldn't leave any rack unattended anyway.

Dealer will quote, or check ebay, that's where mine came from, used but half price, with four free locks.

They don't.

They have little L-shaped brackets that hook under welded-on brackets hidden under the roof gutters. Once all four are in place, the rack fits over them and pulls them up tight, so that the foot is flat on the roof and the L-shaped bracket is tight onto the underside of the welded-on loop. They are rock-solid once in place. made by Mont-Blanc.

To remove, loosen off the rack fixings, lift off the rack, and remove the L-shaped brackets, store fixed to rack.
