So three years ago the TY754VN5AA box went on my UK 04 WRX.


Desperate to get it back on the road I went for a TY752VN4BA that was going cheep.


Looking at various gearcharts on the web which seem to conflict, I am a little worried that my old diff does not match the replacement box. Some suggest a 4.111 diff ratio, some 3.9.


I am hoping that all may be OK as it hasn't packed in over the last three years. But could there be a mismatch, and things still run

Not looked at the charts but certainly on the Newage UK boxes the VN designator is used for boxes with 1:1.1 drop gears which use a 3.54 diff. If you had the wrong diff in there I would be pretty confident you would know about it well before now.
