Default Injectors sizes for Newage STI

HI all.

I am just a little confused with regards to what size injectors i need to purchase.

I own a Blobeye STI 53 plate, which i know has the pink STI 550cc flow rate injector.

I recently had a all my mods put on the car and then mapped, i was told at the end of the mapping session that my injectors were holding me back, and that i should look to get bigger injectors to achieve my finished goal.

Now my questions please.

Do i have top feed injectors ??

I am looking for 650 or 750cc size injectors, best place to purchase ??

With 650 or 750cc injectors fitted would my fuel pump need upgrading from the original 255lph pump ??

Thanks in advance.

Yes they are top feed,

Check the posts I made when doing mine, Upgraded to a SC42 by OD
I used PE800cc
They were slightly larger in size and required me to space my fuel rails,

I believe Deatchwerks are exact same shape tho.

It also depends on power you are wanting to achieve ?

You could fit and adjustable fuel pressure reg ?

Unusual to need injectors before a turbo I thought,

I ran 335bhp on my pinks with stock FPR,

that was my vf35 turbo close to maxxing

I also changed my Walbro 255 to a SWRD 340 from scoobyworx

But as I says depend what turbo you want to run and what power you want to achieve

Well i am running a sc38, RCM headers, GGR air filter with CAI, on SRR dyno i made 395/352 torque, the car managed 410bhp, but was too lean, so backed it off so it was safe.

Just wanted to know what size injectors i need to put in to achieve a safe 410bhp so its not too lean

You could add a Fuel Pressure Regulator and upp Fuel pressure a little,

650cc would be good enough for what your after I reckon

Depends if you have more plans for future.

Similar spec to mine, I'm running a sc38, front mount, ported headers, trick up pipe, 3 port boost solenoid, Perrin intake, Alcatek and made 357 with injectors holding me back. I've just bought some id1000 from as performance as these was recommended by the mapper. They give me enough head room for future mods too
