Default Injectors - Blues or Pinks?

Looking to change the injectors in my 05 blob wagon and straight away thought of the pink injectors. It's only after a little research it seems that blue injectors (565cc) also might fit.

I'm more drawn towards the blues due to them coming from a newer engine and in theory less mileage. So, do they fit and are the flow characteristics the same or similar to the pinks?

I have a set of blues on my 2.1, straight fit. I think they flow a touch more than the pinks and are newer as you've said.

A while ago you used to be able to pick them up quite cheaply too.

Thanks Scotty, seems strange that pinks still seem to demand a higher price when the blues are potentially better.

Anyone else got experience or understanding of the flow rates? Would be interesting to know.

I think the pinks are generally about 550cc and the blues are 565cc. So not much in it.

Spoke to TDR and they said either are fine but obviously dark blues are newer. Just won some on eBay for a bargain price

Nice, I think I paid about £40 for mine as they were just advertised as WRX injectors (from a 2.5 Hawkeye).
