Probably going to get **** for this, but I've searched and searched and not been able to find concrete info - USDM and JDM wouldn't be a problem.

What turbo came on an 03 STi blob eye Type UK

Im asking as my car came with various mods that the previous owner didn't have a clue about, and the car boosts 1.5 bar.

I need to know if this is safe or not! Seems a bit high to me.

I could look i suppose, but help me out, I'm nowhere near the car lol.

Any idea what power you have or rolling road print out? That might help give us a clue or if it's been uprated.
If running around 300bhp then prob a VF35 (fitted on the WR1).
1.5 bar is common on a remapped car and should be OK as a safe limit. Standard boost is 1.2 on this turbo.

take ot to a specialist and get it on a dyno and questions answered, no way to tell other than that

Well its actually got a 330 hp printout from scooby clinic. not sure what map it has.

Thanks for the info guys, helps a lot - and to know its running a safe pressure!

Why not contact sc they might have some details of the cars map.
