Hi guys I know this topic has been covered on a few sites but I have bought some rcm thermal gaskets that's are going on wth a fmic and I just wanted to know will the coolant bypass help noticeably or not? Will we be effected by this in England?

Thanks

I done it on mine, probably only much help on high boost cars. Down side is throttle can freeze open in very cold weather but mine gets put away in winter anyway so no probs there.

Done the coolant bypass on mine. The throttle body is a lot cooler to touch so it must help reduce temperatures in the intake manifold. I've driven the car in minus temperatures and never had any problems.

Thanks for your input. I think from what I read it would have to be kept open at 3/4 throttle for quite a long time. The post was by someone very knowledgeable on here.

Just trying to get the very most out of all the cars mods and the thermal gaskets etc. Cars running around 440bhp so doing this and the intake gaskets should really beniefit it I would have thought
