converting 1994 v2 wrx into 1998 turbo 2000
Hi I crashed my v2 wrx wagon and have bought a 1998 impreza turbo 2000 saloon, now I need to swap everything onto the turbo 2000 like the following, complete engine and turbo which is a top entry td05, fmic, simtek ecu (4 plug) bc coilovers. Is it all a straight swap?

No its a full working car couldn't find any shells so just bought a running car but the engine in my wrx was rebuilt with forged rods and pistons 2000 miles ago and mapped to 320 bhp

Would it be a case of swapping engine loom and just plugging in my simtek? or would I have to swap car loom? And if i do would I have to swap the dash?

You could pull the short engine from the old car and bolt on heads from new car , letting you use the new car as is with your forged bottom end, then sell your simtek and buy the later simtek for the newer car, this would be the less work of the two options

Yup, theres a loom out each wing and one out the middle of the baulkhead, The one out the pass wing has the fuse box on it. depending on what ABS setup you have the pump will need to go accross to suit the loom, and im near sure the hardlines are in a different position ont he two pumps so they will need to go over as well.
