Hi guys/girls

Went to change my exhaust today for a resonated miltek cat back system only to find it wouldn't fit, the reason it wouldn't fit is probably due to having an rcm down pipe on their(the miltek center section was a good 8 inches too big ).

My question to you all is what is my next step ? Do I buy the miltek down pipe? The only issue with that is they say it needs a stage 2 remap, my 2002 bug is currently running at 340bhp so I'm hoping I wouldn't need the re map, or do I go back to miltek and ask for a shorter section ,
