Cracked Head????
Has anyone ever had a cracked head, After parking earlier today i notice a puddle of water on the floor. It looks like it is coming from down the back of the head on the turbo side. Doesn't look like it is coming from the water pipe to the turbo. Is it a cracked head or do the little bungs in the head ever leak. Its on a 95 WRX.

Yes - just had both cylinder heads replaced last week. (MY00 Turbo)
BUT: My problem was initially caused by a split heater matrix. This was replaced, and when it split again (after also blowing the top hose on the radiator), Subaru checked engine further.
They found head gaskets were gone, and then found cracked cylinder heads.
Blown head gaskets pressurized water system causing heater matrix and top hose to break/split.
Work was only partially covered by warranty (thankfully it was a company car at the time, and so lease company covered other costs).

Dan,
The car was over the 60,000 mile limit - some of the previous work was carried out before the warranty expired, and was related to the cause if the problem after the warranty - so Subaru covered parts cost not labour (which lease company covered anyway).
