Directly who knows but just saying it might be plugs and sending you on your way is pretty crap. The map could well be causing just as a mechanical fault or sensor issue.

you cant do a map properly when its nocking, need to find the cause fix it then go back to the map to see whats what.

The knocking became parent on the rollers when mapping so they say the oil stinks of fuel and is like water I am guessing because its contaminated

have you had new injectors fitted before the remap, sounds like its pumped fuel in and as you say contaminated the oil.

Had new engine and injectors was running Base map. Running with actuator pressure but yes I'm sure it's overfueled and contaminated oil but surely mapper should have known to stop mapping before the loud knocking I have now

Gutted for you pal,new engine possibly ruined by poor mapping, maybe the injector scaling was way off? Defiantly well over fueling if its contaminated the oil that badly!
Who was the mapper? Maybe one to avoid in the future.

Was the base map put on when the injectors were fitted or had it run before that,
being fair the damage could have been done before the mapper even saw the car.

The oil hadn't been changed before hand. It was driven before mapping also. It wasn't a main mapper that people on here use it was torqe development international in essex. I'm not blaming the mapper but he's words we're I got to stop mapping or I'll blow the engine up and by the way you'll probly won't get home. Yes the damage may have been done but would he have known that before he started pushing it on the rollers.
