Hi peeps

Recently I have purchased myself an 03 sti and it came with a 3 inch tails pipe which to be honest sound like a Lancaster bomber is behind me, don't get me wrong it sounds awsum but I was wondering if their is exshaust out there which is suttle on long distance journeys and then a fire breathing beast when you push your right foot down.

Hi dude,

There is a few exhausts, I would advise a Miltek exhaust, true 3" and very easy to live with.

 

What do you think of the race box one for sale on scooby world?

 

My opinion, I don't like it id prefer the miltek exhaust BUT if you like it buy it buddy.

If you do a search you'll find many exhausts around...
RCM has many choices,you can go MILTEK or SCORPION exhausts.
If nothing from the above satisfies you then you can go with custom made back box.
Chris Tullet,Simpson racing exhausts,JCWeldfab,Alunox are some from the very good names.
It depends what you like to do...!

 

OP said 3 inch tail pipe, can we be clear, is he talking about the tail on the exit side of the rear muffler (aka back box), or the bore of the centre section etc
