Every so often (not all the time either) if I decide to have a heavy right foot for a short period the car will cut boost to around 0.6-0.7bar and I can't for the life of me figure out why?

There seems to be no catalyst and no EML light either. Then sometimes after an hour or two (sometimes longer) the car will return to driving normally (boosting at 1.5bar).

Baffling me, any ideas?

If its dropping into limp mode get it looked at asap, dont keep trying to cause the fault, could be the ecu trying its damdest to save the engine, provoking may just prove too much.

 

Is it limp mode though!? That's sort of the question too. Had it plugged in last time this happened and there were no current or old codes...
