Default Thread Inserts - unscrewing

Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution, not being able to torque up a thread insert (helicoil.vcoil etc) past about 20 Nm? The insert just winds up the bolt threads.

when you screw in the helicoil use a little loctite ( high strength)let it set, then this prevent the helicoil from screwing back up the bolt when you tighten up bolt

That usually happens when you have incorrect thread pitch helicoil & tap, & the helicoil binds to the bolt thread & unwinds.

Thanks. Thread pitch was correct. I'll try some Loctite.

Cheers
