Failed MOT on emissions

My 2000 W Reg turbo has failed MOT on emissions running at 6.00!! should be 0.30 max or something, any idea what it might be would be greatly appreciated.

I know the maf is broken and has been for a while but would it throw it out that much.

Lol yeh the maf will be causing a huge issue along with a good chance of blowing the engine up, id be sorting that straight away

Think you've maybe answered your own question dude. Put a new one on and be done with it!

haha yeah sorry guys forgot to mention that i only got the car a day ago and the maf was listed on the faults of the car i.e it had a hesitation at 3k and stalled on idle but once maf unplugged idle was fine.

Anywho i just wanted to make sure i was on the right track and looks that way thanks
