Default Injector modifying

I've been reading up on 'de-capping' standard top feed 550cc injectors, which once done and flow tested can produce up to 730cc.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a engineering company that offers this?

Trying to keep costs under control from my build so don't fancy forking out for new injectors, especially as I'm only aiming for cira 400 - 450.

Cheers

Hi there

Really I wouldn't use reflowed injectors, they're great, but we are have few issues with them as our idle has been with them bit poor, but if you are on tight budget then you should be OK,really depends

I would speak with Fiestaboy or Lateral Performance or Zen performance, both offer this option over here in UK

But for this price of reflowing injectors you can source Bosch EV14 with Subaru pig tails and they're same as Injector Dynamics

Hope this helps

Thanks,Jura

I have some very cheap injectors for sale just now on eBay.
These are brand new siemens deka 630 cc/min. I have just removed them from my impreza after only doing a few miles.
I have used decapped injectors in the past, work well in boost, but as Jura says, light throttle and idle is compromised.
I also have a set of decapped WRX injectors lying in my cabinet (820 cc/min) but not out them up for sale yet.

Thanks chaps.

Not familiar with the Siemens injectors, are they a good reliable brand?? What power can they make with supporting mods?

Oem fitment in Nobel super cars.
So reliabilty should be there, siemens offering a two year warranty with new ones.
How reliable are decapped ones?
Do petrol injectors ever go wrong? (Without someone damaging them).
As for HP, thy will make same hp as any other 630cc injector.
Hope this helps, boosted.

Check with your mapper too as some don't like reflowed injectors and won't map them apparently....

New factory denso's aren't reflowed though. Apparently very easy to tune with.
Sold via eBay auction now though, £103. Someone got some cheap 630's...
