Default My 00 No Power.... Rough Idle.....

Hello All
So my 2000 impreza has a problem

When i put my foot down there is no turbo kick or nothing, its not like a splutter its just no power if you know what i mean??

on idle its seems rough like its bogging out but dont do this all the time.

i was told to pull the pipe of the wastegate to see if i get much more power and i did i got some pull back but not full power....

any ideas please

DON'T DRIVE IT HARD!!!!!!!

could well be the MAF has gone and you will kill it if you try and drive it on boost with a bust MAF. Get it to a specialist who can diagnose whats going on, never ever try to drive through a problem, how you'll kill the engine.

Things I've tried.

New turbo inlet pipe..
New maf..
Cleaned boost solenoid..
Checked all pipes numerous times for leaks and found nothing..

I'm running out of ideas now.. Its not like a splutter its just no power threw all of the gear.

Thanks

How do I go about checking that lol.
Just blanked off dump valve to see if it was that and still the same. But when blanked off when id changed gear I could hear a chatter noise?

Was the replacement MAF a genuine Subaru item? Copy ones are awful and will make you think the fault is somewhere else. I chased a fault on mine for way longer than needed due to a cheap but new MAF. Fitted a Subaru part and had an instantly happy car.

Wouldnt use brake cleaner on an MY99/00 maf, just cleaning it with a cloth can kill it, shoving brake fluid on it and cleaning it will have finished the job off, you need a NEW one, not a 2nd hand one, but brand spanking NEW.

He doesn't say it's a 99/00 impreza just say 2000 so I'm guessing uk2000.
And he didn't say he cleaned the MassAirFlow(MAF) sensor with brake cleaner,he said the MassAirPressure(MAP)

If its not a sealed unit, what was the result of cleaning? Was any contamination evident?
