Default Opinions please Scooby people

I've got a uk300 2001,
Engine is broken due to piston failure
I'm now considering having either a

ej207 v9 sti semi closed block with forged pistons and crank,
Or
ej207 v9 sti but as a 2.1 stroker

Both builds cost the same price

Which would you choose ?
Which option would make the car more valuable ?

The car has td05 18g turbo, sti injectors, sti intercooler, roger Clark oil pump, 225 fuel pump, forge dump valve and was mapped to 321bhp, the engine that's just broken was actually a 2.5,

2.1 Stroker with forged pistons and rod's, ACL bearing's etc by a proper recognised subaru engine builder.

Certainly a better option

Yeah it'd be mahle forged Pistons, acl race bearings, v9 sti ConRods and forged 2.5 crank, my Wrx heads
Map it to 340bhp and It would be a solid reliable car with plenty of potential

2.1 all day long - your WRX heads will get more use from the midrange grunt, you'll be flogging a dead horse trying to rev a 2.0 CDB with WRX heads choking it. Unless there's some sti big port heads available? But they'll be just as nice on the 2.5 bottom end too!
