Default Which Walbro 255?

Ive been looking at getting a walbro fuel pump for my MY99 uk turbo but from what i can see there are two different part numbers being sold for the same model. The GSS-341 which has the inlet and outlet offset, and the GSS-342 which has them inline. So which is best or doesnt it matter?

Thanks

Steve

gss341 is for a classic, gss342 is for newage and the p1.

Im sure each one could be made to fit but why bother when theres a specific one for each car?

The classics need the wiring cut and the connector fitted where as the newage just plug in. Also the outlets are on different sides.

I have a Walbro 255 in my MY00 that I fitted about two years ago and I find it a bit noisy. If I need to change it again I'm going to look at another type. Just something to think about.

I have the SWRD 255 pump, no more noise than the stock pump.
