Default heater matrix coolant leak in foot well (330s)

I have a leak in the passenger footwell, and it stinks of coolant. I assume i need to replace the heater matrix, anyone know where I can get a replacement, Subaru want £300+ and will take 2 weeks?

Id find out why it happened first or it will go again,
as it isnt on a old car id be worried it may be the first signs of a head gasket.
just IMO.

I would hope not as I had the engine rebuilt/forged by api this time last year due to ringland failure. But will be getting the dash out Friday to have a look

Confirmed, there is a hole in the heater matrix/core and can't be repaired, so any suggestions on where to source a replacement?

Depends if you want factory OEM
If so try SG Petch or import car parts
If you want aftermarket ( cheaper
You can get them on eBay from a UK company , a little DIY is required to make the fit ...
So I guess it's your call
