Don't wish to sound negative but you are unlikely to sell it IMO.

N/A's go forever as they are under powered and over engineered. Also the N/A models are not sort after so if they go wrong in a expensive way they just get scrapped. You may see breakers advertising the bits for good money... but I bet they will still be sat there gathered dust months later.

Just a guess... But If you plan on converting to a turbo setup... good luck. It's not a simple engine and gearbox swap.

Maybe you should advertise to the VW camper community, seen a few with these engines in them.

Worth a go but they will probably also want the full matching loom too (interior loom engine loom and ecu). All of which you won't need anyway so you may as well try to sell it as a conversion kit. I tried to sell a working N/A box on ebay for months at 99p starting bid. Ended up taking it to the tip which was a shame.

That is a shame, I'll probably have to do that with the collection of standard classic struts I have. Hate chucking decent parts away but they just aren't worth keeping/selling.

Yea I thought that might be the case as above hate scraping perfectly good parts but just don't have the space to keep them for a just in case sale shame as the engine and gearbox are in very good condition

cheers for the advice
