I'm having a problem with my 53 blob sti it's started to hesitate when on full throttle it looses power but still pulls probably 50 percent exhaust note quietens boost stays constant probably for a second or so then we're off again second gears its favourite and the only gear it's done it for more than a split second like a missfire once it's cleared its throat it doesn't do it again for a while Id really appreciate any advice cheers

 

what mods does it have and who mapped it

3" full system decat
3 port boost solenoid
fuel pump
bailys dump valve
was remapped at g-r performance made 340 bhp
boost gage shows 20 - 22 psi
any ideas?

It's sometimes easier said than done, but look through all your vacuum lines for tiny leaks.

Going through similar myself now.

 

Cured i thinit the maf very sooty quick squirt of contact cleaner seems to be sorted!
