Default new battery

There is a new battery in the key, my guess is the fob is junk because when I bought this car the previous rough *** owner had attempted many awful diy repairs including bypassing the immobilizer by running a new starter wire from the ignition switch which I'm still using, he said he didn't know the code either, thanks for the link mate, saved me hours of searching
