Default Newage Sti transmission oil

I've read a few posts on gearbox and rear diff oil for new age sti's with DCCD and it seems there some conflicting advice.

In the manual for my 07 Hawk Sti it says just 75w90 GL5 in both diff and gearbox.

Am I right in thinking the gearbox should be 75w90 GL5

And the rear diff should have 75w90 with limited slip properties.

Anybody in the know please confirm this for me before I make a mistake.....

Hi

Yes, you want an LSD oil for the diff. The best option is a synthetic 75w-90, like the Silkolene Syn 5, Millers CRX NT LS, Motul Gear 300LS, Red Line 75w-90 GL5 or Gulf Competition LS. A SAE90 or 80w-90 mineral oil such as Motul 90PA, Fuchs Race Gear 90LS or Gulf Gear LS 80w-90 is a good, cheaper alternative.

Thanks
Lots of choices there.
So the gearbox/front diff is just regular 75w/90 oil

The gearbox can be a bit fussy, but this one is ideal for that.
