Hi guys,


anyone got any tips on my bonnet problem? it just simply wont catch closed, i have tried pulling the catch on the drivers side repeatedly, but it just wont lock closed?

anyone got any good tips?

I had the same problem on mine.

Mine was fixed by cleaning the catch. It had so much oil and grease and "dirt" within the grease that the latch basically didn't move as expected anymore.

I cleaned it using carb cleaner and then oiled it afterwards, and it's been fine since (about 4 years).

until it pops open at 80 anyway

 

Haha...mine occasionally pops at 120 ....commen fault

 

I check the bonnet is shut with pulling up on bonnet .Had it pop up on catch ages ago and make sure the catch is free of dirt is lubed and mechanism moves freely
