Hi lads, basically have a bit of a problem with the car which I think must be electrical, the car starts fine from cold although it maybe sounds a tad lumpy? But when it is warm and I start it the revs hunt up and down and I have to rev it myself for a few mins before it finds an idle, the reason I think it must be electrical is Duncan(racedynamix) has just mapped the car and afr's etc. are bang on, also when I pulled up on the deive the other night the car was hunting for revs so I turned off the heaters, radio and lights in which it started idling smoothly, I then turned the lights back on and the car stalled, also the speedo swept when I turned the lights on, any ideas? Earthing problem maybe? Thanks

 

Most likely the idle control valve, they give trouble quite often. Do a search for it!

 

Has anyone got a pic or can they tell me which way around the bits inside the inlet manifold go I may have it the wrong way (V4 inlet) cheers
