I paid just north of £1100 when I had mine sorted out after I'd bought it, then on 67k miles.

Jesus! What was included in that? So glad I do my own work!

To the op it completely depends what you want done, what parts you want used and where you want it done.

The reason I recommend RCM is that your car will be in good hands I was there for 2hours 1day and every car I seen them work on was treated like there own and a few of my mate/cousin has used them before. They use top quality parts upgraded or original depending on what you want.

there are some good garages out there just watch out for some garages the cheap price is normally due to non original parts. check the parts that they use and what the service includes then compare them.

beware what the quote is and what is needed, somewhere might say £500 all in and another £900, but just be carefull what is actualy included for that price.

cambelt is a classic example, very rare does the basic price include a tensioner or pulleys that may be needed and add an additional £200/300 on just the cambelt change price.
