They can catch on the arches with 225/40 R18 tyres, you will need at least arch rolling there

Thanks,Jura

Its not the wheel which will make difference, but tyre choice can make difference

I would suggest go with 215/35 R18,but you will compromise the driving and comfort with them,if you will go with 225/40 R18 you will need roll arches, you can try adjust camber with camber bolts where they catch, you will see what is better option

Thanks,Jura

Thanks Jura I think I will just get a set of 17's then.. Would a 215/45/17 tyre be correct? So what width and offset

Thanks

Hi there

Yes 215/40 R17 should be correct, but this again will depends on the alloys used,I know few guys tried to run New age STI wheels and 225/40 R17 and they have rubbing issue at back,WRX new age wheels should be good option in my view

Just don't forget 35 profile will give you harsher drive,we have run those tyres on EP3 and I hate them, comfort has been 0 and really they're not worth it to run,but again depends on the more factors like wheels, brakes etc

Are you running Brembo or any Big Brake Kit?

Thanks,Jura
