Quick question on alloy fitment
Will oz prodrive 18" 7.5 et46 fit a classic with no rubbing issues? Tyres fitted are 225/40/18

I would suggest go with 215/35 R18,but you will compromise the driving and comfort with them,if you will go with 225/40 R18 you will need roll arches,you can try adjust camber with camber bolts where they catch,you will see what is better option

Yes 215/40 R17 should be correct,but this again will depends on the alloys used,I know few guys tried to run New age STI wheels and 225/40 R17 and they have rubbing issue at back,WRX new age wheels should be good option in my view
Just don't forget 35 profile will give you harsher drive,we have run those tyres on EP3 and I hate them,comfort has been 0 and really they're not worth it to run,but again depends on the more factors like wheels,brakes etc
Are you running Brembo or any Big Brake Kit?
