Default Worth changing clutch?

My gearbox has been making some awful whining noises on my 2010 WRX. It's back at the garage to get the bearings replaced. Mt question - is it worth changing the clutch at the same time since the box is off? Doesn't slip and it's now just ticked over to 30k. Standard car apart from PPP.

It depends on the condition of the clutch. If it's got lots of life left then it would be a waste to change it, if it's not got much life left then it would make financial sense to change it.

If you do decide to change the clutch then we keep them in stock: 01462 600241

Garage have advised that they can replace the bearings without dropping the box due to an access hatch? So box not coming off.

never heard of that before

Sugar now say box is fine. So is it true that some of the bearings can be changed with the box in situ? Never heard of that before
