Started hearing a sound from the rear of my 2004 sti . Had Bc's fitted couple of months ago so dont think they're at fault .
After having a bit of a root around looking for anything that appeared loose and i found there was a bolt that had either sheared or had come out altogether from the spoiler mountings .
It is missing a bolt from the top right corner as your looking at the boot of the car with the boot open (if that makes sense
)
There's definitely a bit of play on the outer right edge of the spoiler and the sound is noticeable especially over bumps or speedbumps . All the other bolts look pretty solid but the upper right one is definitely missing.
Anyone got any ideas on how to repair the sheared bolt ? or any part numbers to replace the missing bolt ? or any other ideas .
Thanks

What top mounts does your rear BC coilovers have ? , if it has the metal ones with the rosejoint at the top then theyre probably ate fault.
Im pretty sure BC started selling them with the rubber topmount like the oe dampers have and this solved the problem.
unless you already have the rubber ones fitted then ignore the above
cheers
