ive bought some rear ebc brake discs for my car (2005 impreza wagen) which went straight on. the problem is that the original discs had 170mm brake shoe diameter, where as the new discs have 190mm brake shoe diameter which I think are for sti's. will 190mm sti brake shoes fit onto my wrx currently with 170mm brakes shoes?

Nope either get correct discs for r160 diff or buy some fatter handbrake shoes from Godspeed, correct discs are the best option

 

The have supplied you type R rear discs , send them back and get the cheaper WRX 290mm discs
