Default Brake pads

Evening chaps,

looking a new set of pads for my STI. Been searching around and came across these:

http://www.scoobyparts.com/performan...brake-pad-deal

Any good or just over-priced? I'm running the car on standard discs but with HEL braided lines and would like a pad with good feel and sharp stopping power.

Thanks

Will have a look at them mate. Been told Kevlar pads are good too, but keep being drawn to the brembos.

I would go down the route with Performance Friction Z-Rated pads, great pads and great performer all around

Are you thinking to upgrade both front and rear?

I would upgrade front as first as on Subaru(or any other car) front is braking more than rear

Please speak with Alyn@AS Performance about the Z-Rated pads and if he is able to make for you deal on those pads

http://www.asptrading.co.uk/acatalog...ications_.html

Have run them and must admit they're best pads all around for price

Thanks,Jura

dave23 i have used those pads in your link and there not to bad at all,but it all come's down to how you will be using your car i.e your driving style hard on the brakes most of the time etc...,if its just around the streets those brembo pads will do you fine, but for hard core street driving or track the Performance Friction pads mentioned above can't be beat,i have been using them for over 10 years now and keep on coming back for more,as Jura has said Alyn of ASPerformance is the man to talk to regarding them as he is a main dealer.SJ.

Thanks mate. Car won't be tracked at all, just for general use and some fast B road driving. Would like something with a bit of feel and low dust when combined with the braided lines.
