Default Scoobyworx/SWRD Version 5 Turbo Inlet Pipe Review

Received the new Version 5 Turbo Inlet pipe from Scoobyworx On Friday.

Just thought id do a wee write up on it, Since my engine's partially stripped down due to a slow ongoing rebuild, the inlet manifold was already loose and easy to remove, I have parallel fuel rail's so cant compare to standard fuel rail's and original engine wiring:

Initial thought's:
Strong looking materials and a nice shade of red ( Personal preference of course)
Breather take off's strong and secured nicely, in the correct places
Thick ply construction very similar to a Samco one, Without a logo there very similar

Fitted it to the engine with the inlet manifold raised out the way.

Fit's nicely onto the turbo, loose enough to slip over but tight enough to not need to much persuasion.

Upon refitting the inlet manifold over the top of the inlet pipe, a little persuasion was required, bolt hole for the manifold to the block squeezes over, however the inlet pipe wasnt damaged. Other than that it went on okay. fit's tightly next to the power steering pump ,

After refitting the manifold all the breathers lined up and fitted okay. Also the pipe was secure. Couldn't quite see if it was constricted in any way but i couldn't physically tell otherwise.

Overall a good bit of kit, and well worth the upgrade.

Also a few pic's of the PS pump clearance: first photo of it fitted up properly, Second photo is of it pushed towards to the Ps pump, still leaves about a 5mm Gap. It can be pushed into contact with the PS pump, however it is a long way out of alignment and would have to be secured that way. So it's got a good natural fit

Thumb's up for Scoobyworx.
