impreza/legacy gtb cross compatibility

just out of me being nosey i just wondered if the impreza/legacy gtb shared alot of parts or if say an sti8 engine with 6 speed will fit a late 90's legacy gtb?

it will but they are twin turbo std so require a fair bit of re-working to go single turbo..........
