Default Converting Side Feed set up to top feed.

Are there any advantages in dong this?

Ill be doing a parallel fuel line set up soon, and planned to build up a manifold and then just swop it when done.

It would be nice to get hold of a Spec C one, to match my Spec C heads, but they are obviously top feed.

Car is or will be soon 99uk turbo. 2.1 stroker

I just ordered a conversion kit from tuspeed.
I ran side feeds for a few years.
But the injector range is very small and a little unknown.
Top feeds like injector dynamics are a very known quantity when it comes to tuning etc.
I have a theory that top feeds should be less prone to heat soak too. Raising the rail a few more inches from the head can only help cool the fuel down!

Hi there

Advantage can be found in larger selection of the injectors which can be fitted to yours car

Just be careful when you will be doing Parallel fuel rail conversion on yours,as Spec C rails are not same like for STI,there is different spacing for mounting the fuel rail, yes you can use STI or WRX rails on the Spec C manifold, but you will need to make bracket for this, which shouldn't be hard

Spec C manifold are hard to find, but on JDM STI(blobeye onwards) you can find too same inlet manifold like on Spec C

Thanks,Jura
