Default Manifold question

Hi Guys,

What is the purpose of the clips on the manifold I've just had fitted, photo below. The garage has fit for me but have not tightened the screws up on this clips so they vibrate which is bloody annoying! I can't get under there to tighten myself due to the angle so they'll have to do it but is it just a safety precaution in case the pipes come apart or what?

The joints expand and contract with heat. So those clips will get tighter when the joint expands and loser when it contracts.

I tightened mines up last year, I see it that the joint will flex with the heat and these small slides will stop them popping off when at full heat. up to yourself but RCM ones are welded up so should really be tight
