Worth asking who built it.
Just because the parts are fitted together doesn't necessarily mean it's worth very much as a reliable engine.

I asked this question and the reply I got was
"The engine was built by a local engine builder/ Subaru enthusiast for my friends company to fit but the lad who started it couldn't pay the bill so I paid for the engine unfortunately I got the engine off the mechanic who was going to fit it not the builder so I don't have the receipts, hence why I removed the sump and baffle plate to show the con rods etc"

I suppose it would be worth a punt if you were prepared to give it to a reputable known Subaru specialist to disassemble and rebuild just to be sure, otherwise I would steer clear.
