Default Clutch worn out?

Hi all,
I drove around 250 miles yesterday without any problems whatsoever. Then today while going to work the car just kind of lost drive, it's as if the clutch was slipping and there was a juddering which also came with this problem. Then it was fine again before making possibly a clunking nose and then the clutch slip feeling again.

When I returned home the car was fine. I thought possibly oil on the clutch but would slip always, or flywheel came loose or maybe a diff?

Has anyone else had this problem? EJ20G engine Subaru GC8.

Evan.

Oh really? So I would need a new driveshaft or is it the CV joint or something? I have some spares but not sure if they are the front drive shafts or the rear without checking.

Well I found out the cause, it was the drivers side rear drift shaft/axel had come out of the diff. Taped back in and all is fine.

I hope it's more secure than just being 'taped'!

Tapped.

Is it the type that had a role pin in to hold it. If so have you replaced it. Drive shafts should just fall out.
