Fitting a 3" RCM exhaust + Downpipe. Should I get the car remapped ?
Did same upgrade on my old v2 type RA & had no problems even kept the lambada plug un-"plugged with the blanking nut inserted. But heard really I should remap the car which is a v3 type RA this time. Thanks.

 

Yes you should, might be ok for a while but would slowly destroy your engine. That's why many imprezas are rebuilt as people don't look after them properly.

 

Cheers, not going to fit the exhaust till I've got the dough to get a remap then. Thought it would be fine but after reading a few threads apparently not !
