Default swapping plastic header tank

Is the earlier newage blobeye alloy header tank a direct swap onto a 2.5 hawk sti, or does it foul on aircon pipe running below it?

Thank you, kind sir. I have just stumbled upon this whilst looking for a header tank for my blobeye.

Is the plastic one off the hawk in any way considered better or was this some sort of cost saving exercise?

i would suspect he had issues with the plastic one and used an earlier new-age alloy one to sort.......

plastic one is brittle and very easy to break an outlet on, just by accidentally resting on it
