small oil clearance

Default small oil clearance

Hi peeps
I tried plastigauge my crank today
to check oil clearance
and not 100% if did it right but they seem to small of clearance
what do I have to do if they are
bearings are standard acl and crank is standard size
please help

Measured 0.045 on 2 of them
gonna do again tomorrow and see wat results say

Presuming that you have the correct diameter plastigauge the crankshaft oil clearance should be 0.010 - 0.030 with a limit of 0.040

Which colour plastigauge shud I have
I brought one that goes.from
0.018 to 0.0.45 the grey one

If its a used crank and rods you are measuring, then the measurement you are getting is prob right for used items.

Sorry my bad the oil clearance is to big not small
and ye its a used good crank and brand new acl race series bearings

is the measurements are 0.045 then clearance is to big

Supposed to be 0.010 to 0.030
