Default Rear brembo fitment

Afternoon all!

I have bought a full set of brembos for my 2005 wrx and just wondered, do I need anything additional to get the handbrake mechanism working? I have discs, pads and callipers but do I need different shoes etc?

Thanks!

Adam

larger handbrake shoes or discs with the 20mm insert, godspeed brakes do both

Hi,
Sorry to hijack the thread but what would be needed to do the same but for a classic with 1 pot rears such as on the P1? Also, I heard that the discs will fit to V4 > Type Rs due to the handbrake shoes being bigger so could I just source and fit a set of these along with the rear brembos?

Regards,

Subaru Collector 555.

At £150 for four brake shoes and brackets, I'd be open to alternatives as that seems excessive

I'm guessing you mean the standard 2 pots? What model do you have?

Well on the 2005 wrx, you don't need any additonal brackets...just the larger shoes. £138 delivered seems MASSIVELY excessive and feels like a complete rip off bearing in mind normal brake shoes for any other car can be had for £20 BUT I need them and seen as no one makes them any cheaper, they are begrudgingly ordered!
