Default help. eml light after filter change

Ok so I've had a look on the forums can't find what I'm after....put an aftermarket filter on my blob eye wrx and the engine light is on... I was careful with maf...I have 2 mags to tryboth doing same...tried unplugging battery for 15 mins but didn't fix it... Was rough idle when first done but after a drive it's perfectly fine to drive now... Just Eml still on.. ideas?

If you had unplugged maf then light would show on dash untill it was either reset with scan tool possibly by disconnecting battery for a while. On some cars if the fault hasn't reappeared within X amount of starts then ecu wipes the codes. I think my A-class merc was something like 50 starts before it reset the traction contol light each time it came on..

I went for a drive it seemed to sort the idle issue out.. think it was recalculating values maybe.. then next time i started it, it was fine
