Default Forge Header tank.

Anyone using one on an early classic? I bought a used one and the cap doesn't hold pressure. I don't know if the neck is worn or if it needs a unique forge cap.
Ive tried two caps that are fine on a standard cap but leak under pressure on the forge tank

I contacted Forge and asked if they could do anything to repair it. I sent the old one to them and within a week they sent a brand new replacement. I was up front with them that it was a used part and they still replaced it with no argument what so ever.
Worth a mention I think, first class service by Forge!

Usually you need to pinch the clasp on the cap as they don't always clamp tidy.
